Zipperless

For the better part of this year I've had a black and yellow duffel sitting in my closet that had no zipper on the top, making it essentially useless as a bag. When packing to go home, I picked it up to look in it, and found "The Game"! Then after discussing the ridiculousness of having such a bag, I remembered that there was currently a shredded backpack in the Coffee Kitchen. I grabbed a loose zipper off of it, was able to make the transfer, sewed it back up, and now I've a new duffel!

Laundry Room Loss

I was prepared for this one. I had already looked through my box of laundry detergent to make sure that I didn't lose by doing my laundry.

Then, lo and behold, I'm checking pockets, and I threw my flannel shirt into the laundry machine, forgetting that it had a breast pocket. I promptly recalled, and pulled it back out, giving it the arbitrary reach inside, though knowing firmly in my head that there was no reason for anything to be in that pocket. What do I pull out, but a small orange slip of paper with "GAME" scratched out in dying thin-tipped blue marker.

I responsively let out a groan, bemoaning the curse of the game, and one of the other two people in the laundry room followed suit. The other was just confused, and quickly left. We then chatted about the ridiculousness of the game until we were done in the laundry room.
